Donations to ALS Walk welcomed

Hi all!  Some people were wondering if they could donate to the Walk to Defeat ALS, even if they were unable to join us for the walk in September .  The answer is yes!  Credit card donations can be made online at our team's page--we are Kevin's Crew .  Feel free to donate through any of the team members--the money all goes to the same good cause.   If you prefer to write a check, make it payable to The ALS Association Central & Southern Ohio Chapter and mail it to 1170 Old Henderson Rd, Suite 221, Columbus, OH 43220.  Include a note with your name and our team name, "Kevin's Crew." Finally, please do consider joining us for walk day on Sunday, September 25th at Harper Meadows (Winton Woods).  Walking the route is not required--you could just come join the celebration.  Pets on leashes are welcome, too!  Find times and directions at the Cincinnati walk home page . -Jane

Lou Gehrig day at the ballpark

Yesterday was Major League Baseball's Lou Gehrig Day, to "honor his legacy on the field and raise awareness about ALS throughout the world."  The ALS Association provided pALS (people with ALS) and their cALS (caregivers of people with ALS) with free baseball tickets.  We sat on a party deck with other pALS and cALS, and the Reds won!

Please join us for the Walk to Defeat ALS!

Please join our team us on Sunday, September 25th at Harper's Meadows (Winton Woods) for the ALS Association's annual Walk to Defeat ALS!  We are excited to go IN PERSON this year, after two years of "virtual" walking due to Covid-19.  Should be a great time--pray for good weather!  If you are unable to join us on walk day and you still want to donate to this great cause, you can find our team, Kevin's Crew, on the Walk to Defeat ALS website .  We hope to see you there!
